Graphic Designer is expressly listed. The credential route is a baccalaureate or licenciatura degree, or a qualifying post-secondary diploma or certificate plus three years of experience. Citizenship, actual professional duties and the prearranged work arrangement must also meet TN requirements.
Match the evidence to the route actually relied on
Start with the credential itself: awarding institution, program, completion record and, where the diploma or certificate route applies, evidence of the required experience. Check the regulatory definitions before assuming a training certificate qualifies. Next, ask the receiving entity to describe the actual design work.
Multiple deliverables can belong to a professional engagement; their number does not replace the eligibility analysis or resolve a possible self-employment issue. Two records settle most of the doubt. The first is the transcript or the diploma with its program description, which shows whether the credential is the degree or the post-secondary diploma or certificate the regulation contemplates.
The second is a set of employment letters covering the three years of experience, dated and describing design duties rather than character. Assemble both before any admission or petition step, because the qualification is judged against the profession claimed and there is no opportunity to improve the record while an officer is reading it. Where the credential was issued outside North America, allow several weeks for an evaluation.
If the duties turn out to be marketing management rather than design, the profession match fails whatever the credential shows.
