No. A child included in the application carries the same nonrefundable US$15,000 processing fee and the same US$1 million gift as an adult joining spouse. There is no reduced rate by age. For two children that is US$30,000 in fees and US$2 million in gifts on top of the principal's own payments.

Because each child doubles as a full-price applicant, some households ask whether every member should be included now. That is a real decision with consequences: a person left out of the initial application is not part of it, and the family should ask a qualified adviser what would then be available to them. Weigh schooling years, university plans, and a child's own preferences before fixing the list.
Add one further consideration to that weighing. Marital status and age are assessed by reference to the applicable rules rather than to the family's own sense of who counts as a dependant, so an older child, a child who marries, or a child whose circumstances change during the process may fall outside the described category entirely.
